General Questions

Q: Are you a CrossFit gym?
A: Nope! Our training might look similar to what some people call CrossFit, but our approach is different. Those differences primarily show up in the systems and principles we follow in our workouts, and the movements we include in our training.

Q: What kind of gym are you?
A: We consider ourselves a complete training gym. We focus on the best practices and principles of strength & conditioning that deliver results for improved health and performance—not just for today, but forever.

Q: What if I can’t do the workouts?
A: No problem. We modify every workout to meet your individual needs and abilities.

Q: What is your class schedule?
A: Monday - Friday

5:30a, 6:30a, 8:30a, 12:00p, 4:30p, 6:00p, and 7:00p

* Saturday 9:00a class

* Fridays 5:30p class (instead of 6:00p and 7:00p)

Q: Is there open gym?
A: Yes! While we value class participation above all else, as a perk of membership, you’ll get keycard access to open gym from 4:30 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week.

Q: What’s the process for joining?
A: You’ll start with two in-depth and highly personalized 1-on-1 sessions with a coach to build confidence, get comfortable with the movements, and set your goals.

Q: Do I have to sign a contract?
A: Nope! We don’t have contracts.

Q: Do you have showers?
A: We don’t have showers, yet : )

Q: Do you have lockers?
A: Yes! Members with an Elysium+ membership get locker access, and we also provide daily storage space in the lobby for your personal items.

Q: Do you have childcare?
A: Yes! We have a childcare membership and offer childcare on Mondays - Thursdays for our 8:30a and 6:00p classes.

Q: Does your membership qualify for HSA/FSA?
A: Absolutely. Let us know if you’re interested in setting this up, and we will walk you through the process to get 30% off your membership!

Community and Culture

Q: What’s the community like?
A: Supportive, fun, and family-oriented. We’re big on high fives, encouragement, and making everyone feel welcome.

Q: Do you have events outside the gym?
A: Yes! We host social events, competitions, and outdoor workouts to keep things fun and engaging.

Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Absolutely! Bring them to a drop-in or free trial class.

Q: How do I recover after workouts?
A: Recovery is a priority here. We’ll guide you on mobility work, stretching, sleep, and nutrition to maximize results.

Q: What if I’m really sore?
A: That’s normal! We’ll show you how to balance recovery and training. You can also use open gym for light movement to help with soreness.

Membership and Costs

Q: How much does it cost to join?
A: Membership costs vary depending on your plan. We offer a variety of monthly memberships, all designed to fit your needs.

Q: Do you offer family memberships?
A: Yes! We love seeing families train together. Ask us about discounts for multiple family members.

Q: Do you offer a free trial?
A: Absolutely. Your first class is free—come see what makes Elysium special!

Q: What’s the best class for beginners?
A: Every class is beginner-friendly! Our coaches tailor every workout to your fitness level, so you’ll feel challenged but never overwhelmed.

Q: Do you offer personal training?

Q: How many times a week should I work out?
A: It depends on your goals, but 3-5 days a week is a great starting point for most people.

Q: Do you have classes for kids?
A: Yes! We offer kid-friendly fitness classes to help them stay active and develop healthy habits.

Facilities and Equipment

Q: What kind of equipment do you have?
A: We’ve got a wide variety of equipment, including barbells, kettlebells, sleds, rigs, rowers, and everything else you’ll need for a complete workout.

Q: Is the gym clean?
A: Yes! We take cleanliness seriously, and our team ensures the facility is spotless every day.

Miscellaneous

Q: Can I drop in if I’m visiting from out of town?
A: Absolutely! We love meeting new people, and drop-ins are always welcome.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear comfortable workout clothes and supportive shoes. Bring a water bottle and a good attitude!

Q: Do I need experience to join?
A: Not at all. We welcome everyone, from beginners to advanced athletes.
